Mitchell & Brown, a division of TVD Group, has launched its best-performing soundbar to date; the Symphony BAR400.

This compact, high-performance soundbar with a wireless subwoofer packs 400W of power, 2.1 channel sound with automatic 3D sound processing and five inputs. The sleek design and robust engineering add up to a premium feeling device, at an affordable price, which will compliment any TV in your home.

The Symphony BAR400 is by far the best-sounding Soundbar we have launched to date,” says Dan Brown, Operations Director at Mitchell & Brown. “Its sound performance across richness, clarity, and bass impact competes with subwoofers well above its price. We have specifically kept frills and extraneous features to a minimum, concentrating on designing a soundbar that offers spectacular sound performance without the complexity.”

The Symphony BAR400 is a 2.1 soundbar and subwoofer combination and takes stereo or Dolby Digital sound from the TV via HDMI ARC or one of its other four inputs. With Dolby Digital material, it automatically engages its onboard 3D sound processing to create a more immersive sound experience without the hassle of rear speakers. Bluetooth connectivity allows one-touch music playback from smartphones or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

With its robust 400W output and sophisticated 2.1 channel system, the Symphony BAR400 guarantees that every whisper and explosion is delivered with astounding clarity and depth. The addition of a wireless subwoofer enhances audio performance by providing deep, resonant bass, to underpin movies and sporting fixtures alike. Wireless connectivity means the subwoofer can be placed almost anywhere in the room, and its automatic power/standby syncs with the man soundbar, ensuring there is no need to access it to power up.

For ease of use, the Symphony BAR400 comes with a robust remote control covering the main features, plus the ability to fine-tune the sound and bass output. A touch Bluetooth button, a large mute button and a jog-dial make this remote far more intuitive than many competitor products at the price.

The Symphony BAR400 uses sound directly from the TV via HDMI ARC or optical connection to play sound that is always in sync with the content on the screen. Volume links to the TV remote control making the experience seamless. Swith the soundbar off, and the TV goes back to playing sound through its own loudspeakers – ideal for late-night viewing not to disturb family or neighbours.

A sleek, circular control panel on top of the soundbar allows quick volume adjustment even if you can’t easily find/use the TV remote control or smart device. The input button scrolls through its HDMI ARC, USB, Optical, Coaxial and AUX inputs, with voice notification and colour-coded illumination of each input. The subwoofer powers on/off with the main soundbar so it can be hidden away behind the sofa if required.

Aesthetically, the Symphony BAR400 is crafted with a sleek, minimalist design that complements any interior décor and any TV brand. It fits neatly under any television setup on a table or stand or can be wall-mounted thanks to keyhole mounts on the rear. The connection panel is deeply recessed to ensure cables and connections are hidden, however the Symphony BAR400 is positioned.

The Symphony BAR400 is available now from Mitchell & Brown retailers across the UK and backed with a 2-Year guarantee and Mitchell & Brown’s legendary UK customer support.
